In 2009 in co-founded Ecolour, an Australian-based manufacturer of premium quality paint. It has been a challenging but exciting six years so far and I’m very honoured to have been named as a finalist in the 2015 NAB Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards (Emerging Entrepreneur category).
Ecolour operates a factory in Byron Bay, a dedicated trade store in Melbourne and a growing online store. All our products are non-toxic, carbon neutral and cost competitive. In late 2014 the Green Building Council of Australia approved the awarding of additional Green Star innovation points to development that use Ecolour paints. With over 400 major Green Star construction projects currently occurring around the country, we have significant plans for expansion. Being part of a business that is profiting from cleaning up both indoor air quality and the environment is a great feeling.
